One of the best most challenging journeys you will ever go on is seeing what your body can do. Perhaps you are in shape, completely out of shape, or simply hoping to lose some weight. Nonetheless, developing a body that you really can be proud, one that is very healthy, and permits you to really adore every possible last tiny inch of it actually is a dazzling journey to undertake.

So what is the secret behind making an enduring change with your body?

Consistency and commitment.

There's nothing else like coming to the table every single day and giving it your best shot. Your best effort must be yours and yours alone. Don't start comparing your journey to other journeys or else you may become deeply discouraged and daunted by the task at hand. Instead, really try and understand you're competing against and with yourself and yourself alone. Will there be times on your journey where you try and fail? Yes, many times. But each time you do, you must come back with a commitment to achieving something you strongly want. Consistency will keep you in the game and on the field every day. Without it, you will suffer the the inevitable reality of many new years resolutioners who give up each and every single year on making the body of their dreams because they are missing the ability to keep on coming back repeatedly timeand again.

Commitment also is evoked, though not the commitment that you're likely thinking about. In our world, we are fed this concept that everything must take place right now and if it does not happen right now, it isn't worth it. Your body is going to drastically change throughout all the years, so why not make a real lifelong dedication to keeping healthy? Is that a sexy sellable idea? Not so much. But is it something that could really change the course of your life? Absolutely.

When you make a commitment to keeping your body healthy through your entire life, you will ultimately reach whatever goal you wish. It is all about seeing the overall picture than simply the few months in front of you till summer. It's honestly about developing something you can be pleased with for ever and ever. For me, that idea made my life different as I was able to ultimately hit my health goals after 12 years of fighting with my body image and food issues. But as soon as I changed my view of what I was making an attempt to attain, everything I had wished for came to me. So try it on for size and see if it works for you. Make a lifetime dedication to staying healthy and watch how much your body will change in the short term too.

Bring some commitment and consistency to the table, in all aspects of your life, and things will change drastically.
