First, look for a school in your community that specializes in Rolfing. Get yourself enrolled in the said school. If you want to specialize in this field, then you better go to a specialization school because it allows you to mix in academic rigor with your experiential learning. After you get yourself enrolled in this school, then you have to expect yourself to go through trainings. This is because the academy requires you to strictly pursue excellence. While in school, you will be required to complete a set instructional hours. The average would be at least 600 hours to get the certification you want.

When it comes to this specialty, you will normally have to obtain three units. You have to begin the first of these three units. If you got no previous experience on body work, then you will have to choose Foundations of Rolfing Structural Integration. If you already have training, then your choice is Advanced Foundations of Rolfing Structural Integration.

If you have no experience on bodywork yet, then it is only appropriate to expect your training to finish in three months. This is essential to understand and use all the skills taught to you during the three-month training. To those already trained in the field, then the training will be completed in a short period of eight weeks.
