During the initial stage, you will be given antibiotics to treat the infection. If you avoid going to the doctor, you stand a chance of getting worse more so developing heart problems, joints pains, and nervous system issues. Nonetheless, the cure is available for the first stage diagnosis. The last stage is detrimental to humans and can cause face paralysis, vision problems, and memory disorders.

Finally, remember that it is better to take precaution. So during the warm days, avoid bushy areas and do not walk in the center of trails. In addition, always check you and your pet after a hike or walk.
